If the Jets get two picks thanks to a trade with the Bucs, I'd be willing to bet one of them is for the O.  I'm going to guess Mingo & Cooper (they like him better than Warmack)

dasnerdly I really feel like Tavon Austin will be a Jet if they don't trade one of those 1st rounders.  I wouldn't be shocked if the Jets traded one however since they have so many areas of need it makes sense for them to accumulate draft picks

I hope the Gino slides to the $teeler$. Everyone"s panties get all tight when i mention it to $teeler$ fans, but you need to good QB in today's game, plus Ben is so up and down(eratic) ,he can look like the league MVP and then turn around and look like a rookie. Gino or the best player available that's not a D lineman

hawkinstrena8 I think that Steelers could use a new young QB - but do they make a move on Gino? Do they pull the trigger when they could really use youth on the DEF? What do you think guys?

hawkinstrena8 Can't see him sliding that far hawk lol. But I do agree that they can go best player available.  If Sanders leaves then it even brings WR potentially into the mix besides all the defensive needs.  Gonna be a very fun 1st round this year I think

Eifert is a ridiculous pick for GB.  They already have six TEs so adding a seventh is insane.  They can score on anybody, but they can't keep the other teams from scoring.  Their only offensive first round need is a LT.  Otherwise they will pick a 3/4 DE or Safety to help a faltering defense.

Got a felling the Niners won't be taking a safety in the first.  Thinking they'll sign a free agent to fill Goldson's loss.  Probably go DLine

Buckshot Lafunk Ya after today's free agents signings, visits and rumors I'll be updating the whole first round later tonight.  Look for it first thing March 13 (tomorrow morning).

@Buckshot Lafunk I think the niners best QB is in KC ... One bad run and san Fran is out of business ...they might look for a QB maybe Barkley . Besides a lot of QB's "flash and fizzle" . The juries still out on Colin being the real deal !

Buckshot Lafunk 5 pts

PaulTribbett  Dude there is ZERO chance they take a QB in round 1!!! You draft a guy that is only a year or two younger than the guy that just took you to the Super Bowl?? that would be the biggest waste of a pick ever.

Okafor is NOT a 3-4 DE.  He will have an extremely hard time playing upright and adjusting to OLB.  The Packers already have their #1 choice from last year, Nick Perry, playing opposite Mathews.  Okafor wouldn't even see the field.  Horrible pick.

slim4MVP 5 pts

joeisme Ya I realize he's not a prototypical DE for a 3-4 but I was thinking that he could be groomed as another OLB.  Nick Perry is no sure thing even though he was a first round pick.  Plus you can never have too many pass rushers in today's NFL.  If a team that is fairly deep sees value in a late pick they will often take him even though it's not a pressing need.  A lot of savvy teams like NYG and PIT do that and I don;t see GB as being much different than them. Tough to find good pass rushers outside of the first round.

Awesome stuff guys! Joeisme - you must have a rebuttal for Buckshot! @slim4mvp is changing his mocks all the time... keep coming back and see what he's changed.

GB drafting a TE in the first round is insane.  They have FIVE tight ends already on the roster and even if Finley leaves they really like Williams and Crabtree.  Thompson has said a TE is not a high priority because they like what they have.  3/4 DE-SS-LT-RB-ILB are their needs and  there are plenty of better picks than a TE at 26 for the Packers.

Buckshot Lafunk 5 pts

joeisme Ya there are definitely a lot of needs for GBay.  One could definitely argue that some of the biggest holes are on defense especially after they were shredded by the Niners. Front 7 needs upgrades, secondary now that Woodson is gone.  OLine to keep Rodgers upright.  Xavier Rhodes could be a good fit for them if he's still there actually cause he cold play CB or be converted to safety according to many scouts...could fill Wooson's multi-dimensional void
